In order to provide ample support for individuals and firms engaged in, or desiring to venture into non-oil exports, Nigeria, through her national external trade agency, the Nigeria Export Promotion Council which was set up since 1976 but officially enabled in 1988, has introduced series of incentives ranging from Export Expansion Grant (EEG) through the Export Development Fund (EDF), as well as other forms of exemptions and grants. These are all in a bid to ensure global competitiveness for Nigeria-made export products.
Since inception, Koinonia Ventures Limited has efficiently and successfully processed the following export incentives worth several billions of Naira, for dozens of Nigeria-based local and multinational companies:
- Export Expansion Grant
- Export Development Fund
- Export Processing Factory Status
- Manufacture-in-Bond and duty-free importation for export manufacture
- Customs Licenses and Permits for manufacturing companies
- Pioneer status
- Tax Relief on export investments (for banks and other financial institutions)
- All other incentives approved by government to boost export activities from time to time
